Because we are special. =] God made us in his image. But we ate from the fruit of the Tree of Good & Evil, and thanks to Satan / Eve, whom was a woman, we are now the way we are. =]

The reason for being alive can be different. With all the religions nowadays, people believe many seperate things are the truth, but what really is? That's mainly why I believe in every religion, no matter how bad they contradict in each other. I believe, and I don't believe God and Satan exist. All you need to do is just live your life to the fullest extent you can, and when you die, hell you die. 'Nuff said.

I've just gotta' say, play it safe, don't treat people like crap, and if that doesn't suffice, is the religion really worth following? We've simply gotta' get through life any way we can, figure out one that works.

To put it simply, I believe in God. I would be considered a Christian, and i'm proud of it. But I do not believe in the Bible, for it was written by man. But as for this whole ordeal, we're human. We make conscious decisions to do what we do. If we chose the correct choice everytime, we'd be perfect and be Gods to say the least. But being we have temptations to fight and such, it was God's little safety precaution to keep us from being like him. We're just little toy soldiers in God's toy chest. We're simply amusement for other ethreal beings.

Zaltos, the Bible was written by man, yet it was God-breathed. And we are in existance to glorify him. And if you are saying that Satan was Eve then you are incorrect. Also, if you do not believe the Bible then how can you say that Adam and Eve were real? You are being a bit hypocritical; no offense or anything. I'm just clearing it up to the best of my ability. And if I did offend you I apologize.

And, I am a Christian. But I am a different kid of Christian. Yes, I follow the Ten Commandments but it is not through good works alone that we get to Heaven. And if this is for another topic then I will put it there also. I believe that the only way to Heaven is through Jesus Christ, the only son of God. I believe that we are created in his image to glorify him. and I admit, I am not good at it; no one is perfect because otherwise like Zaltos said we would be like gods. As for Atheism, nothing happens out of chance. If you put a puzzle that has not been put together into a paper bag and shake it, no matter how many times you shake it or how long you wait, the puzzle will not be solved. It is the same with Earth. A big bang does not just happen out of nowhere and create everything around us. For those who believe in demons and Satan, but not God and angels; you are mistaken for even demons believe in and fear God. You are denying the fact that Satan once was an angel of God and was banished from Heaven for his ignorant belief that he was better than God. Again, if this is meant for another topic I will gladly post it there. And if I came on too strong, I am sorry but this is what I believe.

The whole Satan / Eve meant it was a two part deal. Seperate people to say the least. And I don't believe in good works getting to heaven. And the reason I don't believe a lot of what was written in the bible is because it was written by man. I mean seriously, look at how much the Catholics changed the bible. Man could've done the same.

Very true, yet there are so many different versions of the Bible and so many different words are used. If one would take the original text the interpretation would come out differently than for someone else. That is just how screwy different languages are to each other.
